My client is an avid video game collector, and wanted custom inserts for his imported Japanese video games, for the old Famicom (which was a Japanese version of the original Nintendo Entertainment System). Some of this art and these screenshots weren’t that easy to come by, so this ended up being a bit of a challenge; but the client was happy with it. And happy clients make happy designers. 🙂
Commissioned digital painting for a birthday present. I had so much fun doing this!! Available to the general public, for sale through Society6!
This was complex and ultimately required the use of 5 different software applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, LEGO Digital Designer, and LeoCAD which is another LEGO builder that can output to formats compatible with Maya. Despite that this is a purely speculative mash-up/parody, I wanted everything about it to be absolutely authentic to the LEGO brand. Even the colors are the official ones LEGO uses for the bricks.
